The computer-based exam is held in Islamabad only, and if you live in Karachi or Quetta, where the other tests are conducted, you’ll have to give the paper-based NET-3 in June. Upon announcement of the results students are given merit positions that show them where they stand. NUST has a very low acceptance rate as compared and a merit position in the top 700 ensures admission in any faculty you like.
