Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department Government of the Punjab (Recruitment Test) description is available here. Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) intends to establish a pool of eligible personnel, form amongst existing regular employees of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department/ Specialized Healthcare and Medical Educational Department through a fair, transparent, competitive and merit based process. The officers so selected shall be illegible to be posted against the position of Health Manager including Director Health Services, Executive District Officers Health or successor office, District Officers Health, Medical Superintendent of Distract Headquarters Hospitals/ Tehsil Headquarter Hospital and Deputy District Officer Health. The qualification, experience and financial incentives attached with each post are as under.

Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Government of the Punjab Job Details:

Job: 1

  • Job Title: Director health Services
  • Qualification: MBBS with Master’s degree in Health Administration or Public Health or any other degree in Medical Sciences or Management/ Administration/ Accounts/ Commerce from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Must have at least 10 Years relevant experience.
  • Pay: Officers shall draw their regular salary as per admissible pay scale/ Govt. Policy. In addition, performance linked special incentive shall also be admissible as per following scale: Rs.80, 000 for BS-20, Rs.60, 000 for BS-19, Rs.50, 000 for BS-18, Rs.40, 000 for BS-17.

Job: 2

  • Job Title: Executive District Officers (Health) or successor Office
  • Qualification: MBBS with Master’s degree in Health Administration or Public Health or any other degree in Medical Sciences or Management/ Administration/ Accounts/ Commerce from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Must have at least 10 Years relevant experience.
  • Pay: Officers shall draw their regular salary as per admissible pay scale/ Govt. Policy. In addition, performance linked special incentive shall also be admissible as per following scale: Rs.80, 000 for BS-20, Rs.60, 000 for BS-19, Rs.50, 000 for BS-18, Rs.40, 000 for BS-17.

  • Experience: Must have at least 10 Years relevant experience.

  • Pay: Officers shall draw their regular salary as per admissible pay scale/ Govt. Policy. In addition, performance linked special incentive shall also be admissible as per following scale: Rs.80, 000 for BS-20, Rs.60, 000 for BS-19, Rs.50, 000 for BS-18, Rs.40, 000 for BS-17.

Job: 6

  • Job Title: Deputy District Officers (Health)
  • Qualification: MBBS Preference may be given for additional qualification such as Master’s degree in Health Administration or Public Health or any other degree in Medical Sciences or Management/ Accounts/ Commerce from a recognized institution
  • Pay: Officers shall draw their regular salary as per admissible pay scale/ Govt. Policy. In addition, performance linked special incentive shall also be admissible as per following scale: Rs.80, 000 for BS-20, Rs.60, 000 for BS-19, Rs.50, 000 for BS-18, Rs.40, 000 for BS-17.

General terms and Conditions:

  1. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she must submit separate application form for each post.
  2. Candidates can download Application Form from National Testing Service (NTS) website nts.org.pk. Along with the deposit slip of Rs. 500/-.
  3. Candidates shah submit duty filled Application Form, along with deposit slip of prescribed fees in favour of National Testing Service, copy of CNIC and two recent passport size photographs, directly to NTS through courier on the address mentioned on Application Form.
  4. Test Fee shall be paid many branch of HBL, UBL, MCB or ABL on prescribed bank Challan (attached with application form downloaded from NTS website.
  5. Incomplete applications or applications carrying incorrect information shall be summarily rejected.
  6. Roll No Slips shall be separately dispatched directly to candidate by NTS at least one week before the test.
  7. Last date of submission of applications to NTS is 25th May 2016.
  8. The date of written test shall be communicated to the eligible shortlisted candidates only through NTS website Candidates having at least 50%marks in NTS test shall be deemed eligible for further consideration m the selection process.
  9. Candidates shall produce original documents, along with a set of attested copies of all the relevant documents, at the date/time of interview to be communicated by Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department.
  10. In case of selection, Private practice shall not be allowed to the Health managers.
  11. All incumbents of these posts are encouraged to apply as the incentive package shall only be admissible to candidates selected through this process.
  12. The candidates who currently don’t possess requisite management qualification are also eligible to apply. P&SHD.
  13. Department may facilitate them in obtaining requisite qualification as per policy m vogue.
  14. Successful candidates may be required to undertake capacity building programs, as organized by P&SHD Department. Successful completion of such capacity building course shall also be a requisite for inclusion in the poof of health Managers.
